Softball Tournament

Payden, his brothers, and some friends played in a softball tournament. They didn't win, but they had a lot of fun and it was a ton of fun watching them play.

Nauvoo

Last month I went with my parents, and Danny & Jessica to pick up my grandma May from her mission in Nauvoo. It was so much fun!
The only thing that would have made it better was if my sweet husband would have been there to experience it with us. I know he would have loved it. What a good husband he is to let me go without him while he stayed home to work and go to school.
You are the best hun!

Here are some pictures from the trip.

My mom and I in front of the Nauvoo Temple after doing a session.
If you ever go to Nauvoo, make sure you do a session if you can. It is amazing, you will love it. There was so much that I loved about Nauvoo, but the temple was one of my favorite things.

My dad got to make a horseshoe in the blacksmith shop. It was so fun to watch him because he absolutely loved it, and everyone loved watching him. A group of people came right as he was finishing up and they did not want him to leave. I was so glad that I was there to see him do that.

I LOVE this picture because it is really hard to get my dad smile for a picture.

The Calvin Pendleton Home and School was one of my favorite homes to go to. The sister missionary gave us examples of how the pioneers would spell.

Without looking further down, guess what this says.
It says wearing apparel

Carthage Jail.

We stayed right in Old Nauvoo in the Pountain House.
Joseph Smith signed the deed for this house.

Grandma in her play. She was so fun to watch.

Expecting

I’m thinking that pretty much everyone that knows me that would read this already knows, but... we are expecting a baby boy in January. It is kind of scary to think that we are going to be parents and to have our lives change so much, but we are so excited to start our little family. We can’t believe how much we have been blessed these last 7 months. It is amazing how things work out the way that they are supposed to.

My Roses!!!

We have a pretty small back yard that is pretty much just a cement slab, but we do have a little flower bed. I was so excited to get some flowers planted.

The Gibson Girl Hairdo

I work at a financial office as an assistant, but in our office we also have an art gallery. The art gallery is run by an artist that I see almost every day and have gotten to know pretty well. So sometimes when he needs a model I am lucky enough to make a little extra money. I did some modeling for this artist last week. I should have taken a picture of what I looked like all ready and dressed up, but I was in a hurry and forgot. So here is just a picture of how I did my hair as a test run the night before.

What a Fun Vacation

For our Honeymoon we spent two nights at the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas
and then a week in San Diego, California.
We went to Sea World,

a Padres Baseball Game,
the beach,
and we saw a lighthouse (which was so cool).

Our hotel wasn't as nice as we thought it would be but it was right by the ocean, surrounded my a marina, it was beautiful.

Our Wedding Day

Planning the wedding was a disaster, and the night before the wedding was a nightmare, but it was all worth it because our
wedding day was by far the best day I have ever had. Everything was perfect (Except for the decorating of the car, which I am still NOT laughing about, that was so mean). Our family and friends took care of everything for us. My dad even cooked chicken for me at the luncheon, while everyone else got steak. My in-laws were amazing; they worked so hard getting their yard ready for us. And my two best friends (Melissa & Heather) made standing in the line such a blast. We laughed so hard. (I love you both)
I just want to say Thank You from the bottom of my heart to everyone that helped make our wedding day so special. And to all of you who traveled so far to be there, it meant a lot to us.
